Description
The St George Historical Society is devoted to preserving and sharing the history of this Maine coastal village. The Society headquarters is at38 Main Street and showcases our town history with multiple rotating display and is open Saturdays May to October and by appointment and serves as a resource and reference library on the history and genealogy of St George. The Andrew Robinson Homestead, a unique property, showcases decades (1805-2001) of family living with 6 programs May to October. The Schoolhouse Museum is open to the public during special town events. These programs and facilities, as well as Marshall Point Lighthouse Museum, are all volunteer staffed and operated by donations.
