SGBA Scholarship Information
The St. George Business Alliance is pleased to announce that it plans to award one ($1,000) scholarship to a graduating high school senior from the Town of St. George in the spring of 2021. The student and one parent must be full-time residents of St. George for the last 2 full school years. At the time of application, the student must also be accepted by and planning to attend an accredited college, university, business or trade school in the fall of 2021.
Please note that members of the Class of 2020, who put off beginning college or trade school during the 2020-2021 school year because of Covid-19 restrictions and plan to begin higher education studies in the fall of 2021, are also eligible to apply for SGBA’s 2021 scholarship award.
The deadline for applications is Friday, April 30, 2021. Application packets are available in the St. George Town Office, at the Jackson Memorial Library in Tenants Harbor, from guidance counselors at high schools attended by St. George students, or by download from SGBA’s website.
As part of this mission, the St. George Business Alliance strives to help students receive the education needed to pursue their chosen careers. This is the fourth consecutive year that the SGBA will be awarding its scholarship to a deserving high school graduate from St. George.
