SGBA Scholarship Information



As announced in early March, the St. George Business Alliance will be awarding its 3rd annual $1,000 scholarship to a graduating member of the Class of 2020 who lives in St. George. The applicant and one parent must be full-time residents of St. George for the past two school years.

Because of school closings due to the Covid-19 virus, we have pushed back our scholarship application deadline from Thursday, April 30, 2020 to Tuesday, June 30, 2020. If you are unable to reach and request an application from the Town Office (372-6363), the Jackson Memorial Library (372-8961), or your high school Guidance Dept, please download the 2020 application

Applications must be printed out, completed and mailed/emailed—along with required documents and student essay—to St. George Business Alliance, Rosemary Limmen, Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 104, Tenants Harbor, ME 04860 OR to We will acknowledge receipt of all applications received by the June 30th deadline.

The SGBA is a local non-profit trade association of businesses, individuals, civic and non-profit organizations whose mission is to promote business and cultural prosperity in St. George. As part of this mission, the Alliance strives to help students receive the education needed to pursue their chosen careers.
