FIORE Artisan Olive Oils And Vinegars is a woman-owned Maine business since 2009. Rockland is the home of our second retail shop, with three others all in Maine.  We are a tasting room offering the freshest extra virgin olive oils from around the world and aged balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy.  You can taste at your leisure and when you make a selection, we bottle it fresh right there for you.  We also offer tasting accessories, salts, tapenades, olives and Italian pasta.  Come In And Taste For Yourself!

The Friends of Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge supports the refuge in its mission to conserve and protect wild islands to provide important habitats for an array of wildlife species throughout the Gulf of Maine. We do this by raising funds to supplement the refuge budget, developing and staffing the Rockland visitor center and educational programs, and volunteering for special projects.

Our visitor center features a wall-size map of the entire coast of Maine and its islands.  We have a short film highlighting coastal islands and their value to wildlife, and the work of Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge.  There are exhibits, a gift store, an art gallery and an outdoor seabird island replica.  We can recommend local hikes and puffin viewing trips.  Admission is free.
